ISO 27001

Easymeet is certified to ISO 27001 – the standard for information security.
It is important for businesses, the public sector and other organizations to manage information securely so that important information is not corrupted, leaked or destroyed.

The uncontrolled dissemination of information can be financially and reputationally damaging to an organization, but it can also be illegal, e.g. if the personal data stored is disseminated to unauthorized persons.

Secure management is also about making information easily accessible when needed.
Certification

For an organization to obtain an ISO 27001 certificate, the following is required:

• The organization has a management system that meets all the requirements of the standard.
• The system is a natural part of the organization’s daily operations.
• The system is described.
• The system and description are continuously maintained.
• Operations are audited annually against the requirements of ISO 27000 by an accredited certification body.

GDPR
The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is the EU law for the protection of personal data. The law applies across the EU from 25 May 2018 and aims to provide a uniform and equivalent level of protection of personal data.
A 27001 certification facilitates compliance with the requirements of the GDPR in several ways.
